On August 9 and 10, 2025, Atessa (Chieti) once again became the Abruzzo capital of two-wheelers with the National Motorcycle Rally City of Atessa, an event included in the official FMI calendar and valid for the TTR – Abruzzo Regional Tourist Trophy championship.
The two-day event attracted motorcyclists from Abruzzo, primarily those from the MotoClub I Lupi del Sangro presided over by Giovanni Sprecacenere, and many from various Italian regions, transforming the historic center and surrounding streets into an open-air stage for enthusiasts and curious onlookers.
Among the main sponsors of the 2025 edition was also Travaglini Group, which confirmed its participation by supporting an event that is no longer just a sporting occasion, but also an opportunity for tourism and social promotion.

“The Motorcycle Rally is a symbol of community and passion,” stated Luciano Travaglini, founder and CEO of Travaglini Group. “We are proud to contribute to an event that combines sport, tourism, and promotion of the territory, bringing visitors and economic opportunities to Atessa.”
The rally began on Saturday, August 9, with the welcoming of participants, guided tours, and tastings of typical Abruzzo products. In the afternoon, the first tourist ride reached the Castle in the municipality of Roccascalegna (Chieti), with a panoramic stop, a meeting with Mayor Domenico Giangiordano and the local community.

The day of Sunday, August 10, was dedicated to the ride towards Colledimezzo (Chieti), and concluded with the official awards ceremony valid for the Abruzzo Regional Tourist Trophy at the restaurant “Il castello di Perano”.
