The event “Tradition & Innovation – Recognition for historic companies > 40 years” was held on the evening of Sunday, July 21, 2024, in Piazza Benedetti, crowded with an enthusiastic audience. The initiative, strongly supported by the Municipality of Atessa and the Department of Productive Activities, saw 54 local businesses awarded.
Business stories from the productive heart of Val di Sangro. Among these, Travaglini Group could not be missing, with its business started back in 1976 and which still today, despite the global dimension achieved, continues to strongly maintain the value of belonging to its territory of origin at its core.
On stage were Luciano Travaglini (CEO & founder), Antonina Di Loreto (co-founder) and their daughters, Barbara (CEO – Automotive & Packaging business units) and Bruna (CEO – Transport business unit). The entire family, first and second generation, received the commemorative plaque from the hands of Manuel Ghiotto (logistic planning manager Honda Motor Europe Logistics Italy): “There is no need to remind everyone how beautiful and high-quality the motorcycles we produce here in Piazzano di Atessa (Chieti) are – stated Manuel Ghiotto -. If they are appreciated throughout Europe, it is because the Travaglini Group transports them throughout Europe! Thank you for the spirit of partnership you demonstrate daily.”
